Excavators Explained - CX135SR
Drop image hereMake:                         Case
Model:                        CX135SR
Operating Weight:   14 tonnes
Fleet size:                  3

Q: What does “SR” in the model mean?

A:
The CX135SR is part of the Case MSR (minimum
swing radius) series. All SR machines have compact
counterweights so that they can slew around in
restricted areas. This makes them particularly useful for tight roadworks and building sites. The JWG fleet
includes MSR machines up to 24 tonnes.
Drop image hereQ: Can you please describe some of the special features of these machines?

A: Special features of our CX135 SR units include:
• Knuckle boom machines that can trench up against
walls or fences;
• Rubber padded tracks for working on road surfaces;
• Machine control (laser or GPS) to minimize survey
and level checking and improve productivity; and

• A wide range of attachments including augers,rockbreakers, grabs, compaction tools, tilt
hitches and much more.
Social Circles - 2014 Christmas Party
The JWG Christmas party was held at Clifford Park Racecourse at the end of last year; the family friendly afternoon was followed by lively celebrations well into the evening. The children had fun getting up close to a backhoe and truck that were on display for them while some of the adults enjoyed a flutter on the ponies. Some enjoyed more luck (or science?) than others with their betting and a great time was had by all.

Did you Know?
Drop image hereThe world’s fastest backhoe is the JCB GT.

It can go over 100 kph but with it’s 1,000hp engine it is also very, very noisy.

See it perform at the 2014 Bathurst 1000.
